Movement has always been a central part of my life. With a background in gymnastics and competitive dance, I developed a deep appreciation for control, discipline, and creativity early on. I began my career as a group fitness instructor in the late 1990s and quickly found fulfillment in helping others move with strength and purpose.
While pursuing my Master’s in Physical Education, I completed my first Mat Pilates certification in 2000 and was immediately hooked. The method aligned perfectly with my studies in anatomy, kinesiology, and functional movement. In 2009, I earned my comprehensive BASI certification, expanding into full apparatus training.
Pilates has supported me through every phase of life, from recovering after knee surgery to managing back issues caused by years of intense physical activity. I’ve seen it do the same for clients of all ages and abilities.
In 2021, I opened Pilates Studio 11 to create more than just a studio. I wanted a space where people feel strong, supported, and empowered through movement. I believe Pilates is one of the most powerful tools we have to feel better, move better, and live better.
